International Credit Transfers are credit transfers made in a non-euro currency or outside of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) zone. This article will guide you through the process for making an International Credit Transfers.
You can only make a credit transfer if you are a member with permission to initiate payments.
Steps to send an International Credit Transfer
The example provided in this article is specific to transferring USD to the United States. Your actual experience may vary based on the payment rail used.
- Go to Web Banking > Transfer.
- Click + New transfer.
- Choose International transfer.
- Enter the transfer amount, then click Continue.
Your funds will be converted into the recipient's currency based on the current exchange rate. Additional fees will be charged.
- Enter the Beneficiary name, select the available beneficiary account details, and specify whether the Recipient type is a Person or Business.
Tip
Enter the beneficiary's name exactly as it appears in their bank records.
- Individuals: use the full first and last name.
- Businesses: use the business's legal name as it appears in their bank records.
- Enter the beneficiary’s account details, and select the Account type.
The beneficiary's account details needed will differ depending on the supported payment rails.
- Enter the beneficiary’s address details.
- Enter a Transfer reference, then click Continue.
Tip
A transfer reference will appear on both your and the beneficiary’s bank statements, making it easy to identify and track your transaction.
- Using your mobile device, consent to process your transfer.
