Supported payment rails and currencies

  • Updated

Your payment account supports the required rails to manage International Credit Transfers smoothly and efficiently. This article provides details on the supported currencies and available payment rails for transferring money internationally using your payment account.

Payment rails

Payment rails are like the networks that connect different parties involved in local or international financial transactions. Payment rails ensure funds can be sent and received quickly, regardless of currency or payment method.

Two common examples of payment rails are Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) and Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT):

  • SEPA: enables smooth euro transfers within Europe
  • SWIFT: a global network for international transactions
