As an added security measure, your card needs to be activated before it can be used for online and contactless payments.
You can activate your physical card in two ways:
- Enter your card PIN when making your first payment at a point-of-sale terminal.
- Enter your card’s identifier in your Web Banking app.
Activating your physical card
To activate your physical card using the Web Banking app, follow these steps:
- Go to Web Banking > Cards.
- Select the Physical card tab.
- Click Activate, which triggers a popup to appear.
- Enter the Identifier, a 10-digit number found on the back of your card, then click Activate.
- Consent to the card activation on your mobile device.
*Your physical card has been activated. You can now view your card numbers and block or unblock your card if needed.
