Changing your account's legal representative

  • Updated

To change the legal representative of your company account, the current legal representative needs to make a formal request to Swan Support.

The new legal representative can be someone mentioned in the company's registration documents or someone with Power of Attorney (POA). Follow this step-by-step guide on how to request the change.

Requesting a change in legal representative

To make the change, the current legal representative must submit a request to Swan Support, and provide the email address that is registered with Swan. Alternatively, requests can be made in the support portal from your Web Banking app.

Steps to change the legal representative

Here are the steps to update the legal representative for your account:

  1. Add the new legal representative as an account member.
    • A member with permission to manage memberships must invite the new legal representative through the Web Banking app.
    • The new member must accept the invitation and verify their identity.
  2. Provide your company’s proof of registration.
    • Submit a valid company registration document or assembly minutes to confirm the new representative's association with the business and their role as a legal representative.
  3. If the new legal representative is using a Power of Attorney, submit the required documents.
    • The Power of Attorney document must be signed by the current legal representative.
    • Copies of identity documents for both the current and new legal representatives must be provided.

Confirmation of legal representative change

Once the legal representative has been updated, Swan's support team will send you an email confirming the change.

Should you have any inquiries or require further assistance, submit a request to Swan Support.
