Your protection is Swan's priority. Consider the following ways Swan strives to keep you safe.

Contact between you and Swan
- Swan never calls you unexpectedly. If you receive an unplanned phone call from Swan, hang up and inform your payment account provider and Swan immediately.
- Please submit a request instead of emailing Support to keep all communications secure.
- Swan might ask you to verify your name or phone number to confirm your identity, but that's it. All other information requests are through secure tickets and only for valid reasons, such as an enhanced transaction review.
Payments and consent
- You can add single-use virtual cards (SUVs) in addition to standard virtual cards. Consider prioritizing SUVs because they're more difficult to use fraudulently.
- You can save trusted beneficiaries to your Web Banking platform. Only eligible account members can send credit transfers to unsaved beneficiaries.
- You must consent to all sensitive operations, such as initiating payments, adding new account memberships, and saving trusted beneficiaries.
- When making online payments, you must complete 3-D Secure (3DS), an extra security layer when paying online. Please note that Mastercard might bypass 3DS if they decide a payment is low risk.
- Every 24 hours, you're required to read a fraud warning before consenting to a transfer.
Web Banking access
- To access Web Banking, you must log in.
- If there's no Web Banking activity for five minutes, or if you close your browser window, you're automatically logged out to ensure the security of your account.
- Swan uses a mix of biometrics, passcodes, and one-time passwords to secure access to Web Banking.
Not all payment account providers use Swan's Web Banking app. If your payment account provider has their own app, ask them about how they protect your account.
Report fraud
If you're a victim of fraud with your payment account, or you suspect you might be, file a fraud dispute with Swan.
- To report fraud related to credit transfers and card payments, follow the instructions in the dedicated article.
- For any other questions, submit a request to Swan Support.
Swan processes fraud disputes based on criticality. All fraud disputes are analyzed, but not all are accepted. Swan responds as quickly as possible.
Reporting fraud is urgent and mandatory.
